Koukawa Oboro is her true identity. A collateral relative of the prestigious Koukawa clan, so a relative of Asuka. The Koukawa clan was annihilated by Nomad, under the command of Edwin Black. She was defeated by Black and subjected to forced cybernetic modification. However, her mind narrowly escaped. Now, in pursuit of vengeance, she secretly collaborates with the DSO to protect Asuka from the shadows.

She is a practitioner of the secret ninja art, Husk Art – Mind Shift, a technique that allows her to transfer her consciousness into another body. It was through this forbidden art that she escaped certain death.
