Equipment System Guide -- Sets, Grades, Enchanting & Set Bonuses

Characters equip 6 gear pieces across 3 sets. Each set has 4 unique set bonuses -- equip 4 pieces for the main bonus, 2 remaining pieces for a secondary bonus. Browse all items and their stats in the Equipment Database.

Equipment Slots

  • Weapon -- ATK (fixed)
  • Gloves -- HP (fixed)
  • Armor -- DEF (fixed)
  • Boots -- SPD (fixed)
  • Necklace -- ATK%, HP%, DEF%, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, or SPD
  • Ring -- ATK%, HP%, DEF%, Effect Hit, or Effect RES

Grades & Tiers

  • Grades (low to high): Uncommon, Rare, Unique, Legendary -- higher grade means better base stats and higher per-level enchant bonuses
  • Tiers: Uncommon and Rare are Tier 1 only. Unique and Legendary come in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 -- T2 is a direct upgrade with higher base and per-level values

Tier 1 vs Tier 2 (Legendary)

T2 has higher base stats and higher enchant per-level bonuses. All values below are base at +15.

Gear Sets

There are 3 sets. Each has 4 unique set bonuses -- 4-piece bonuses are the primary choice, 2-piece bonuses fill remaining slots.

Motivator (Offensive)

  • Attack Set (4pc) -- ATK +20%
  • Insight Set (4pc) -- CRIT Rate +30%
  • Valor Set (2pc) -- ATK +5%, Effect RES +5%
  • Precision Set (4pc) -- CRIT Rate +15%, Effect Hit +20%

Perses (Tank/Support)

  • Health Set (4pc) -- HP +30%
  • Destruction Set (4pc) -- CRIT Damage +40%
  • Barrier Set (2pc) -- HP +10%, Effect RES +5%
  • Annihilation Set (4pc) -- CRIT Damage +20%, Effect Hit +20%

Wendigo (Supportive)

  • Speed Set (4pc) -- SPD +15
  • Defense Set (2pc) -- DEF +15%
  • Hit Set (2pc) -- Effect Hit +20%
  • Resistance Set (2pc) -- Effect RES +20%

Enchanting & Engraving

  • Enchant up to +15, each level adds a fixed amount to the main stat
  • Engraving costs gold (10,000 for T1 / 20,000 for T2) and adds +3 enchant levels to the main stat (max becomes +18)
  • Engraved gear cannot be sold, but engraving can be removed (which also unequips the gear). See Character Builds for recommended gear setups per character
  • T2 uses a different enchant EXP curve than T1

Substats

  • Each piece has up to 4 substats randomly rolled from 11 types: ATK, HP, DEF, SPD, ATK%, HP%, DEF%, CRIT Rate, CRIT Damage, Effect Hit, Effect RES -- for help prioritizing substats, see the Damage Formula & Stat Optimization Guide
  • Higher grade gear starts with more substats and can unlock additional ones through enchanting
  • A substat matching the main stat cannot appear on that piece (e.g., ATK% substat on a Ring with ATK% main)
  • New substats unlock at enhancement levels 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 (5 rolls total)
  • Once all slots are unlocked, further enchanting increases the values of existing substats instead of adding new ones
  • No duplicate substats on the same piece
