The leader of all Taimanins, a group of ninjas who fight for justice. Serves as the head-mistress of Gosha Academy, the educational institute for Taimanins. Utilizes master swordsmanship and super-human physical capabilities, in addition to her ninja art that allows her to move at a speed beyond human perception. She has awakened her true power during a certain mission. Her weapon of choice is a ninja katana. User of Hawk Art, a supernatural ninja art. Heightens her senses and physical capabilities for one second, allowing her to move as if six seconds have passed. She perceives the world in slow motion while using her ninja art; others perceive her as moving at the speed of light. Since her ninja art greatly exhausts her, she cannot use it multiple times at once.

A Taimanin student at Gosha Academy. As a member of the Igawa family, she was expected to excel as a Taimanin from a very young age by her family. She admired her distant relative, Igawa Asagi, and dreamed of becoming an outstanding Taimanin. However, she became frustrated by her inability to awaken her ninja art, continuously failing, despite trying every method possible, which resulted in her family abandoning her and handing the position of the clan successor to her sister. While roaming around, she becomes friends with Kannazuki Sora, who, just like her, lost everything and came to Gosha, and decides to find a new dream. She used to show a confident side of herself to others but act childish in front of her family. However, ever since her family turned against her, her personality became cold. She tries to maintain this cold-hearted demeanor but becomes emotional over topics related to her family and ninja art. The ninja art she has awakened belatedly is Shade Art. It enhances reflexes, dynamic vision, and intuition, and is named after the black shadow that seems to shroud her body when she uses it.

Demon. She's an elf who lives deep in the forests of the Dmon Realm, but among her species she's one of the rare Dark Elves. She is quiet, but also curious and wants to know everything. Usually elves prefer not to interact with other species, but to explore the world, she was traveling the Demon Realm. After getting chased by powerful demons, she is helped by Taimanins and starts cooperating with them. Unlike the average elf, she wields strong magical powers using the energy of nature. With her skill "Cluster Ice Blaster", she can mix the energy of nature and demonic energy to create a chunk of ice and fire it from her staff.

Taimanin, brother of Yatsu Murasaki. Born into the Yatsu Clan, a lower-ranking ninja family under the Igawa Clan, he was unable to awaken his Taimanin powers for a long time. Resigned to the fact that he couldn't use ninja arts, he enlisted in the Japan Ground Self-Defence Force Ranger Unit, but lost sight in both eyes and was discharged. By a twist of fate, this blindness triggered the awakening of his ninja art, and he now actively serves as a Taimanin. Aside from his frequent complaints and cynical personality, he is a reliable ally who stands apart from other Taimanins who were raised in Gosha. He uses the supernatural ninja art "Awakened Immortal". Known as a one-man army for his immense strength, he possesses near-immortal regenerative abilities. However, he cannot regenerate the two eyes he lost before awakening his powers. Instead, he has acquired a sixth sense beyond natural—according to him, he perceives his surroundings with a clarity surpassing sight itself, even discerning colors in vivid detail.

Asagi's younger sister. Always bright and friendly. A young girl who gives off both a gorgeous and cheerful vibe. Born with a rare ninja art just like her sister, she is a ninja who uses "Shadow Art". She became a Taimanin much to her sister's objection, because she also wanted to fight for justice like her sister Asagi. Sakura has helped her sister in multiple missions, and even if she isn't noticed that well, she has made a name for herself as an exemplary Taimanin. She uses Shadow Art, a supernatural ninja art. It gives the use the ability to meld into shadow, or teleport between shadows. She is also capable of shaping shadows into animals like sharks or bears, or using the shadow itself as a bladed weapon. She uses dual-wielding ninja daggers as her main weapon.

Taimanin. Hails from the renowned head house of the Fuuma clan. Because of her powerful Evil Eye, she went through a difficult childhood, being forced into war. Her father, Gonsho was afraid of her, but Danjo, the former head of the clan, was intrigued by her power, and raised her as a killing machine. Now she seeks to serve as a secretary of Kotaro, the current head of the clan, much to Tokiko's disapproval. She possesses the Evil Eye known as Dotengan. Her left mechanical prosthetic hand was implanted during a UFS surgery, which enables her to fire a blast of energy from a hole in her palm.

Taimanin, student of Gosha Academy. Although still a student, she is frequently on missions, and she is expected to be the leading force of the new generation. On mission, she often works with her senior Akiyama Rinko. She is known as the Lightning Bolt for her weapon of choice, the guns akimbo and her lightning bullets. She is almost perfect, except for her temper and pride. Very few know that she is in fact quite shy to strangers. She is mutually intimate to Akiyama Tatsurou, her childhood friend and Rinko's younger brother, but the two have little progress in romance. A user of the ninja art, Lightning Art. It is said to be the most powerful among offensive ninja arts. In particular, Yukikaze is so overwhelmingly strong that she requires her twin-pistol limiters, the "Lightning Shooters", to keep it under control.

Taimanin. Daughter of a clan exiled from their village after failing a rebellion. Her parents fled with her after their defeat, but were ultimately killed while being pursued by the Igawa Clan. She alone narrowly survived. The trauma of losing her parents triggered the awakening of her Evil Eye. She turned the tables on the pursuing Taimanins, using her powers to enchant them, faking her own death, and escaping. Since then, she has hidden her true identity and immersed herself in the underworld, earning a living through intelligence gathering and assassination. She possesses the Evil Eye “Charm Eye", which allows her to entice anyone who makes eye contact, turning them into her puppet for several minutes. However, because the ability activates passively and beyond her control, she usually keeps her eye covered with an eye patch. In addition, she wields dual short swords in a unique Ittoryu-style that she mastered through self-training.

Taimanin, Gosha Academy student. Talented and experienced, she is well known as her nickname 'The Demon Fist.' A classmate and a childhood friend of Akiyama Rinko, the 'Savage Hunter.' These two together are known as 'the Double Rin of the Taimanin,' and the two most promi-nent Taimanin students. A master of Taimanin Art, she wields the power of Smoke Art that can turn her fists into a purple smoke. She can attack anybody within 30 meters of her reach. Her weapon of choice is a pair of knuckle-dusters made of rare orichalcum.

Taimanin. A former high-ranking executive who served the Nisha Clan, one of the eight branches of the Fuuma Clan. But she now leads an independent faction and controls part of the underworld as a gangster, mainly overseeing gambling dens. She has a cheerful and laid-back personality that many perceive as a bit careless, but she also possesses the ruthlessness expected of someone in her line of work when the situation calls for it. Uses the Evil Eye "Cyclops", which allows her to freely manipulate metals. She often carries multiple kunai around herself to toy with her opponents. While her Evil Eye is active, even if she is attacked by metal weapons, the weapons will simply pass through her without harming her. Her weapon of choice is a revolver named "Gold Power" which fires special bullets.

Taimanin, student of Gosha Academy. The successor of the Itto Style, a swordsmanship style that has been passed down in the ninja village for generations. Famous for her nick-name Savage Hunter, she is respected as a strong, elegant, and strict senior student in Gosha Academy. She is so popular among girls, a fan club of her is secretly growing in size without her even knowing it exists. A childhood friend of "Lightning Bolt" Mizuki Yukikaze, as well as her sister figure. She is almost always seen with Yukikaze and supports her faithfully. Aside from her, her known connection is her younger brother Akiyama Tatsuro and her junior Fuuma Kotaro. User of Void Art, a supernatural ninja art. On the basis that she can manipulate space, she can perceive things from a great distance by shifting her senses, or shift herself and others around her into a distant location. Void Art is highly versatile, but teleporting in rapid succession has the risk of exhausting her.

Taimanin, younger brother of Akiyama Rinko. Despite being a member of the prestigious Akiyama family, known for producing countless elite ninjas for generations, he has a timid personality and often struggles under the weight of others' expectations. Childhood friend of Mizuki Yukikaze. They have harbored feelings for each other for quite some time, but their relationship currently remains somewhere in between friends and lovers. His natural talent is fairly average, but through relentless training and effort to become worthy of Yukikaze, he has honed himself into someone with respectable skills. His weapon of choice is a ninja sword. He practices Ittoryu, a style passed down through the ninja village, though his mastery of it isn't particularly exceptional. His ninja art, which he awakened later than most, is Wind Art, which allows him to manipulate wind. While it can be used in combat support, it is mainly specialized for espionage, such as wiretapping, delivering messages, and tailing targets while remaining hidden.

Taimanin, mother of Mizuki Yukikaze. Once renowned as a brave Taimanin, she temporarily retired from dangerous missions after Yukikaze's birth, to work as Igawa Asagi's advisor. However, she was forced to return to the field after her husband was killed in action. Although she claims to be "out of shape compared to her best days", her skills are on a par with the 'Almighty' Igawa Asagi. She is known and dreaded by the denizens of the dark side as the "Phantom", the "one-man army". User of "Water Art". "Geneijin", an extremely rare skill even among Water Art users, allowing her to mold water skillfully into illusions. She can use the illusion as a decoy to mislead incoming attacks, or as a weapon to attack the enemies. Useful in both offense and defense.

An Onmyoji dispatched to Gosha. A teacher at Gokou Academy, an institution in Rokuhara, Kyoto, responsible for training Onmyoji. She is also the captain of Kyoto's elite Onmyoji unit, the "Kujishu". Though born blind, she gained the ability to see like an ordinary person through the use of Mind's Eye, a technique taught to her by the Shinganji clan. A master swordsman, proficient in the anti-demon swordsmanship known as "Onmyo Nenryu" which is passed down among Onmyoji. She has a long-standing rivalry with Akiyama Rinko, a master of the Ittoryu swordsmanship, who respects and calls her "Azu". As a master swordsman, she uses Mind's Eye to observe her surroundings with precision, excels at misleading her opponents with swift movements to create openings to strike with her sword. Additionally, she employs Onmyo-art techniques such as using shikigami to defend against attacks or form special seals to summon clones, blending swordsmanship and magical tactics in combat.

An anti-Nomad UFS scientist. She firmly believes in the power of science that can be utilized for anyone, regardless of the user's innate talents. She is deeply interested in Taimanins' extraordinary physiques and supernatural abilities, and seeks to break them down in scientific theory to contribute to the benefit of mankind. She possesses photographic memory that allows her to remember everything she saw in the past, and parallel cognition that allows her to simultaneously compute multiple tasks. Her default role is to support, but with the help of powered exoskeletons, she can pick a good fight herself.

Rogue Taimanin. The young head of the famed Koukawa family, as well as the clan's only survivor. After Edwin Black killed her parents, she was taken in and raised by Asagi. She started gaining recognition from the age of 14 after performing well on dangerous missions. However, she disappeared after ignoring orders from Asagi and challenging Edwin Black, which left her with serious injuries to her arms and legs. After having been missing for a while, she emerged with mechanical arms and legs. Her highly advanced prosthetic arms can move like biological arms, they're powerful and precise like a machine, and have various built-in weapons. Now she's as powerful as Asagi and sows fear as the "Steel Reaper", destroying both human and demon members of the dark side.

Taimanin, a Gosha Academy student. She pretends to look and speak like a so-called 'mademoiselle'. Since she is not good at having conversations with others, she gets nervous that she unintentionally looks down on others. When this happens she always whines about her problems to a doll she secretly carries all the time. When she's on a mission, she tends to stay silent not to mess up the team spirit. A Puppet Art ninja. Her ninja art 'Puppet Doll' forces certain actions on others with the use of the doll. It has a limited range, so it can be avoided by being out of the attack radius.

An investigator of the Chinese Union PLA. She skipped grades several times and graduated Beidao University with top honors. She inherited Taimanin's blood from her great-grandfather, who was orphaned after a war. To train her skills as a Taimanin, she had visited Japan several times and was educated by Asagi in Gosha. She admires Asagi, calling her "Master". User of "Beast Art", a superhuman ninja art. Imbues the user with the power of a beast, and is also known as the "Beast Ninja". In Su's case, the power of a black dragon resides in her, which allows her to use physical abilities beyond those of humans. Also, she disperses an aura of Particles and makes blades out of her hand or wings on her back.

Taimanin, teacher of Gosha Academy. As a former lower ninja of a faction that serves Asagi as their master, her brother Yatsu Kuro is also active as a Taimanin. She is expected to become the next Asagi, a Taimanin captain of the new generation. It's hard to know from her cold appearance, but she is kind and thoughtful. She has strong feelings towards Asagi which seems more than simple admiration, so she becomes much softer in front of her. She likes cats but unfortunately, cats are afraid of her. User of "Awakened Immortal", a supernatural ninja art. Allows her to become immortal with superhuman restoration abilities. Unless her heart and brain are destroyed simultaneously, she will remain immortal. Furthermore, her immortal body has unimaginable power and agility, which allows her to perform powerful hand-to-hand combat, and to swing her giant axe without breaking a sweat.

Taimanin, mainly on spying or assassination missions. She is usually on a mission about people who are related to the demon realm, not the demons directly. Since she takes this kind of special missions a lot, she ostensibly works as a broker who connects humans and demons, but searches for evil hiding in the dark as a Taimanin. A talented one who can toy with men with her words, even during battle.

Taimanin. A heretic, as she is a mix between human and vampire, and lives as a Taimanin. She was taught swordsmanship by her grand-father, Shinganji Gen-an, and received attention as she was considered to be the heir of the Fuuma clan. But due to the revolt of Fuuma Danjo, Taimanins went against each other, causing Gen-an to step down. Even Kurenai, who was supposed to take over, left Fuuma's village and lived without being associated with any other clan. But when it comes to Fuuma Kotaro who is her childhood friend, she always contemplates whether to help him or not. But in the end, she always helps him for old time's sake. As a half-human half-demon, she possesses physical abilities that aid her in combat. She swiftly swings her dual wield swords 'Shirakami' and 'Koma', inherited from Shinganji Gen-an, the predecessor of the Fuuma Clan. Her ninja art 'Wind Art' com-bined with the Shinganji dual wield style creates a 'Whirlwind Zone' that shreds the enemy with a vacuum blade.

Older sister of Kiryu Sabato, the Demon Realm doctor, whom he fears the most. Although she appears to be a young woman, her real age is unknown, as her physique has been enhanced countless times with the help of demon medical technology. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, she obsessively collects and studies rare abilities, though unsurprisingly, the lives of her subjects are not guaranteed in the process. As a result of years of research into Demon Realm medical technology, she has successfully grafted the arm of a demon onto her own and is now in control of it perfectly. With this arm, she can wield a sword that allows her to be shrouded in powerful venom, shake the earth, and unleash a variety of supernatural abilities.

A former Taimanin, and an executive of Nomad, also known as the "Traitor Taimanin". In the past she was a master of the Koukawa ninja clan but turned against it and recruited mercenaries, calling themselves the "Oboro Ninja Troops", and helped Nomad expand its power in Japan. As an old archenemy of Igawa Asagi, the Almighty Taimanin, she was killed by her, but was revived by demonizing herself with evil medical techniques, and has been continuing the ill fate with Asagi ever since. Her main weapon is a pair of steel claws, and she is able to control one's mind with her ninja art of hypnosis.

A Taimanin, and student at Gosha Academy. A half Oni and human hybrid who inherited the powers of her mother who is a high-rank Oni known as the "Frost Phantom", and the ninja art of her Taimanin father. She has horns growing out the sides of her head, which is a characteristic of the Onis, but she's had a complex about them since she was a child, so she usually hides them with large ribbons and shaggy ponytails. She hates men and thinks that all men are animals. Her power to manipulate cold air, which she inherited from her mother, is so powerful that she can freeze moisture in the air in an instant to create an ice shield, or freeze an enemy with her cold air-clad fists. However, due to an argument with her father, she sealed her ninja art and refuses to use it, so barely anyone knows what kind of ninja art she uses.

Demon. Hell Knight. Aide of Edwin Black, the leader of a multinational company Nomad. She's always by his side as a secretary and a guard. She is cold to everyone apart from Edwin Black and is not on good terms with Oboro, Nomad's executive. She's a descendant of a royal class demon. She looks no different to a human being but boasts strength that far outweighs a human's. She swings a longsword at her enemies that ignites them on fire.

Demon. A <Chimera> that was created by combining multiple demon cells. Appearance-wise she looks like a child, but she is decades old. Her facial expression rarely changes, and although she is a cannibalistic demon that eats humans, she doesn't feed on them because she thinks human flesh is disgusting. She can eat anything she wants, but she likes to eat sweet stuff the most and hates meat that's been cooked medium-rare. Because she was created by combining multiple demon cells, she naturally carries traits of multiple demons. Among them, her immortality is comparable to that of higher- ranked demons. She doesn't have the will to fight, and because of her immortality, she doesn't feel threatened. She can shapeshift parts of her body to use in her fights but be-cause she needs lots of energy, she becomes fatigued very easily.

Demon. Rules over the magma-flowing, burning plains in the corner of the demon realm. Extremely powerful, she gained the title of "Queen of the Inferno" from her ability to manipulate the fires of hell at will. She has lived for centuries and is acquainted with the head of Nomad, Edwin Black. But they went separate ways because of conflicting views. She also rarely leaves the demon realm to venture into other worlds.

Taimanin, the butler of the Fuuma clan, and a teacher of Gosha Academy. She is a daughter whom Fuuma Danjo had with his mistress, which makes her Fuuma Kotaro's stepsister. She is a talented Taimanin who calls Fuuma Kotaro "Master" and supports him in every way. When the Fuuma clan was in danger of collapsing after losing the battle against Taimanins led by the Igawa clan, she did her best to have Fuuma Kotaro succeed and continue to lead the clan, then became his guardian at only 11 years old. Inheriting the characteristic of the Fuuma clan, she uses the ninja art of Evil Eye. Unlike other Evil Eye abilities, her "Clairvoyance" is activated by closing her eye, which lets her spy on anywhere she wants without the need to physically move. She can secretly gather info from books or computers with her ninja art. Also, she is known to be the best at using a kunai among the Fuuma clan, and can even hit hidden targets using her Evil Eye with pinpoint accuracy.

Taimanin. Gosha Academy faculty. Commonly known as "Shizuru of Flowers". A beautiful and talented female who's fluent in six different languages, has two doctorate degrees and expertise in multiple fields. She's a specialist in undercover operations with the ability to disguise as any individual. She's also a skilled fighter who uses Wood Art. She doesn't carry a weapon but is able to create a whip made of rose vines with her ninja art when she fights. Her ability to seduce others with her bewitching charms is one of her talents, essential for undercover missions.

Demon. Born from a demonic magic experiment. A vampire that continues the ancestors' bloodline. Her father is the king of vampires who possesses ultimate magic powers. She's naturally insane, and those who try to come between her and her father will not be forgiven, even if they're her sisters. She's currently under the protection of Edwin Black, but she roams freely between the demon realm and the human realm. She inherited the blood of the first of her kind, so she possesses demonic powers that exceed that of a high rank demon. Born with a vampire's high regenerative ability, she can conjure and control a "shadow blade" that corrodes everything it touches.

Taimanin. She is foul-mouthed, but helps the weak and picks fights against the strong, much like a rather old-fashioned delinquent. Unlike her wild image, she is secretly very fond of gyaru fashion. Sometimes she puts on some of her best clothes and walks the streets where no one knows her. Rumor has it that she keeps a secret chest in her room filled with all sorts of adorable items. Even among the Fire Art Taimanins, her sheer power is outstanding, to a point where even she cannot control her own ninja art without the use of a handmade bazooka named "Meido Bazooka". Her nickname, Scorching Fire, comes from her obliterating demons with a single blast of fireball from her Meido Bazooka.

Taimanin. A substitute teacher of Gosha Academy. She teaches field training classes when she's not on missions and she trains her student for real battles in the classes. She respects every student as a Taimanin even if they are trainees and trains them thoroughly day and night. She is a powerful Lightning artist, more than Mizuki Yukikaze. She is called 'Volt Taimanin' because it looks as if she glows with electricity as it flows through her body when she uses Lightning Art. Her Lightning Art can be applied to many situations such as conjuring a lightning blade, or a shield out of electrons in the air to protect herself from enemy attacks. She is usually assigned to annihilation or raid missions in which she has gained absolute trust from the higher-ups, including Asagi, for her accomplishments on those missions.

Witch. A half-blood born between a male demon and a female human. She's a witch but also a swordsman who wields the legendary demonic sword, Vajrayaksha. She runs a detective agency both in the human world and the demon realm. She's acquainted with powerful leaders in Ami-dahara who are amiable towards her, but there are quite a few who are hostile towards her. She's highly reputed as the strongest swordsman among Amidahara's swordsmen.

Taimanin. As a veteran, her skills have been verified. A bloodthirsty Taimanin who thinks of nothing but fighting. She is slightly more of a trigger-happy maniac than a Taimanin. Often off on missions for long periods of time, whenever she returns to Gosha, she picks fights against random people, be it teacher or student in the name of "hard-core training". Although dreaded for her "brawling habit", she only picks fights against people she thinks are strong enough; those who know this are smart enough not to get in her way. Her combat style involves a long spear and fire art. She can ignite the spearhead, fire it like a rocket, and incinerate anyone that makes contact.

Taimanin, Gosha Academy student. An elite, strict and rigid. A talented figure who is literally a "surefire". Uses a special ninja art called "Paper Spirit" which puts Particles into paper and enhances them. It is a highly adaptive ninja art that is capable of dealing with various situations such as snaring enemies or transforming into blades or explosives.

Taimanin, graduate of Gosha Academy. She has been active as an official Taimanin after graduation. She was trusted among class-mates as a student council member, but she was criticized by instructors that she is lazy when it comes to finishing her job. Nowadays, she's making up for her past mistakes by accumulating more and more accomplishments. Diligent, enjoys drinking tea, reading and sunbathing. Her favorite foods are Sukiyaki and Natto. As a Wind Art ninja, she has outstanding power and ability in analyzing. Her other name, the "Storm Fan," comes from her combat style that blows away and tears enemies apart with her main weapon ─ a large fan.

Taimanin, Gosha Academy faculty. She lost her parents in a conflict before the establishment of Gosha Vilage, and went on missions, putting her life on the line to take care of her younger sister, Haruno. She has accumulated many achievements in battles starting with deceptive operations and sabo-tage, to one on one spear fighting and assassinations. A sis-con beyond imagination. She'll do anything for her younger sister. The reason she left the field and is working as a battle instructor in Gosha is also because her sister asked her to. Her ninja art, "Explosive Art" is an art that changes everything she touches into an explosive. There are various limitations, but it's not just lim-ited to explosions, and she can use them in a very strategic way in battle. She's also a skillful user of the spear, so she has the nickname "Close Combat Specialist".

Taimanin, student of Gosha Academy. A Fire Art user and a classmate of Shinohara Mari and Nanase Mai. She uses her own quick-draw technique, in which she lights her sword aflame in the sheath and unleashes the power of her Fire Art by burning her enemies as she slashes them. Cheerful in the academy, but she hates studying, so she gets help from Shinohara Mari or Nanase Mai. She often acts childish when she wants attention, or gets jealous at people who are better than her.

A Taimanin who mainly participates in front-line combat. She often zones out, which is why she doesn't really stand out in combat training. But she is surprisingly persistent in actual combat. She is usually seen alone most of the time, but it doesn't mean she dislikes others. Rather, she has a strong bond with her teammates, and does not tolerate anyone who injures them. She is very frugal and is not interested in anything but spending time with wild birds she feeds. Possesses the Eclipse Meld, which is a ninja art that absorbs powers from every exchange of blows during combat against an enemy. The longer the battle, the more powerful it becomes, but it takes some time to fully kick in.

Taimanin, a student at Gosha Academy. Regularly reads books in the library on her own. She doesn't talk much and gives off a somewhat mysterious vibe. One of the very few users of Wave Art among nature-based ninja arts. She can materialize the natural energy, 'waves', and manifest it in the form of a Guardian, which she controls freely with her powers.

Taimanin. The child of a retired Taimanin who married a normal human. When she was little, she lived a peaceful, ordinary life, but her parents were murdered by demons who had a grudge against her Taimanin mother and she was sold to the Chaos Arena. She lived her life in fear, not knowing Taimanins, demons, or any evil of this world, but was rescued a few days later by a Taimanin force that attacked the Chaos Arena by surprise. Because of the fear of demons that are now existent in her life, she fails to return to her everyday life. Hearing about this, Gosha decides to take her in. After coming to Gosha, she meets a friend that had the same traumatic childhood as her and slowly regains her old self. She also promises to go forth and not give up no matter what after witnessing the Taimanins rescue her from the Chaos Arena and take care of her day and night. She's lively and gullible, and tries her best to remain bright at all times. The ninja art she has awakened belatedly is Visage Art which summons visions of a fox or a giant for her to fight with, or conjures a storm to use in battle which is very powerful. This ninja art is said to be potentially lethal, but for some reason, she seems to use to her ninja art sparingly as if she's restricting her powers.

Taimanin. Gosha Academy student. Associated in Gosha's public security team. Is also a childhood friend of the team's captain, Homare Nao. At first glance seems like a dark child, but she hides her beauty. She likes to talk, but her voice is so quiet that she is often mistaken as a quiet child. As a Soul artist, she uses "Death's Record" that enables her to read the information of a corpse's spirit by touching them. The information not only contains scientific data such as the cause of death and genetic information, but also includes occult data such as thoughts or memories that remain strongly in the corpses. She is also an Itto-style swordman with high-speed sword drawing skills that is second to none.

Taimanin. Though she hails from a branch of the Fuuma household, she has never been involved in the clan's internal power struggles and has remained neutral, even during Danjo's rebellion. Other Taimanins tend to keep their distance from her due to her abilities and lineage, but she pays no attention to them and only focuses on hunting down demons. She is a Taimanin who possesses the Evil Eye "Deadly Tear" in her right eye, which tears open wounds. When someone with an existing injury meets her gaze, they fall under a powerful illusion where even a minor wound feels like a fatal wound, where their innards are ripped out. The body, reacting to this overwhelming sensation, turns what was once a superficial cut into a life-threatening injury.

Ex UFS mercenary. Her parents were killed by demons when she was young, and she was tortured by having her eye dug out of its socket. However, she was saved by a UFS soldier. She had no one to rely on, so she grew up in an orphanage. Although she graduated from an academy of the UFS, she didn't join the army. Instead, she became a lonely hunter who makes a living by hunting demons. The UFS recognized her skills as a demon hunter, and now she collaborates with them, receiving supplies for her missions. It is said that she has the eye of a demon implanted in her right eye, that she wears an eye patch on, and most of the time, her weapons use the power of the eye as the source of power.

Taimanin. Hails from the family that has traditionally served as the Fuuma clan's secretary. She passed down the role of secretary to Tokiko, and she goes out on missions as a Taimanin. She used to be an active Taimanin, until she lost both of her legs in combat against demons. The former head of the clan, Danjo, saved her life on the brink of death, and the two went to UFS, where she was given mechanical prosthetic legs. However, when Danjo turned against the Taimanins, she left and sided with Asagi. She utilizes her cyborg legs in combat. Furthermore, her Evil Eye allows her to take control of anyone who meets her gaze.

Demon. A Dark Elf living in a forest deep in the mountains of the demon realm. Among all Elves that elaborately use the forces of nature, Dark Elves in particular can use extraordinary demonic powers. Eleonor fuses the forces of nature with her demonic powers and uses them in divination, rituals, and combat. Due to their rarity, Dark Elves have piqued the interest of those who rule in the demon realm, leading to repeated attacks on their village. Eleonor's younger sister is one of the dark elves who have been abducted and sold by human traffickers, which is the reason she came to the human world to rescue her.

A student, Taimanin of Gosha Academy. An elite student who is a member of the student council. Born into a family that has served the Fuuma clan for generations, she always takes care of Fuuma. She claims to be 150cm tall, and she gets furious when someone claims she's actually only 149cm tall. Out of the Beast Art users, she's a "Beast Transformer" who uses the power of the Beast to transform. Her beast type is a "Devil fish", i.e, an octopus. According to her, "Hebiko" (meaning snake woman in Japanese) is her great-grandmother's name, who was able to transform into a serpent as a Beast Transformer. When transformed, her legs become flexible octopus tentacles. They can grow up to 30 meters and regrow even if they are cut off. She specializes in the Four-Wielding style, in which she wields four daggers in her hands and tentacles. However, what people are really afraid of is her ink, which is notorious for its fishy smell that doesn't go away for at least three days.

Demon. A Hell Knight of Nomad's army of knights. She is a bit pretentious and can be clumsy at times, but she is a capable warrior who has honed her skills through countless training sessions and battles. She honed her swordsmanship in admiration of Ingrid, and after joining Nomad, she began stacking achievements that caught the attention of Ingrid. This led to Ingrid giving her the nickname "Storm Knight" and the demonic sword "Sakura Blossom".

Taimanin, Gosha Academy student. She works hard every day as a class representative. A little clumsy, but always puts a bright smile on her face. Possesses unbelievably powerful physical strength, even among Taimanins. Despite her status as a student, she often goes out on missions. Despite her outstanding physical abilities, it's always her clumsiness that keeps her from being perfect. Earth Art ninja. She fights in a style applying Earth Art to her own fists. Furthermore, her exclusive weapon is a prototype scroll bullet, which enables her to use abilities other than Earth Art.

Taimanin. Hails from the Momochi ninja clan, an elite family loyal to the Igawa clan, and is the daughter of Momochi Toyo, an instructor of Taimanin Art. Because she spent her entire childhood training rigorously under her father, she has no experience with what most Taimanins would consider "everyday life." Because of this, she harbors a quiet longing for a normal, peaceful life. From a young age, she was trained by her strict father in the "Momochi Style" a derivative swordsmanship he developed himself. While her swordsmanship rivals that of Akiyama Rinko, who is a fully licensed master in Ittoryu, she lacks real combat experience and has limited ability to adapt in practical situations.

Taimanin. He was an elite ninja of the Igawa clan and taught Taimanin Art to Asagi when she was young. Wears a full suit of armor and wields the longsword "Abara" which glows an eerie crimson and heavy chains as weapons. A master of the "Momochi Style", a derivative swordsmanship which he developed himself. He is considered one of the strongest close-combat fighters within the Igawa clan.

Taimanin. The current head of the Fuuma household. The name "Kotaro" is not his actual name, but rather a name passed down through generations of clan leaders. Gifted with both skill and charisma, he bears the mission of restoring the fallen Fuuma clan, which was brought to ruin by his father Danjo's rebellion. However, he himself seems to take a rather laid-back approach to the task. His physical abilities are mediocre among all student Taimanins, but he is a master tactician and strategist, adept at commanding troops. His Evil Eye, "Demon's Gateway," in his right eye, is a powerful ability that allows him to steal an ability from a target through physical contact and use it as his own. However, it comes with strict limitations: it only works on living beings, and he must first study and comprehend the target's ability; also, only one ability can be stolen at a time.

Taimanin. The young head of the Nisha clan, a leader-class family within the Fuuma line. She is aggressive and ambitious, but she acknowledges the abilities and reputation of the current Fuuma head, Fuuma Kotaro, and follows him. Still, she seems frustrated by his lack of ambition despite his potential. His weapon is "Inosuke", a demon-slaying sword passed down the Nisha clan. Her Evil Eye, "Gashadokuro," grants her the ability to harness the grudges of the dead who have fallen in battle, wrapping herself in their vengeful spirits to enhance her power. When activated, her entire body becomes clad in armor resembling a Gashadokuro, gaining formidable defense, overwhelming power, and speed to annihilate her foes.

Taimanin. Fire Artist specializing in ranged attacks. Rowdy and oppressive, when she sees someone who is weak and lacks confidence, she gets mad and acts harshly toward them. She uses a six-barrel Gatling gun as her weapon, developed by both Section Three and the Research Institute of Anti-demon Science. The magazine is loaded with flaming bullets containing compressed Particles. It can fire as many as 4000 rounds per minute, and can also fire a laser cannon by charging the Particles, but the weight and severe recoil make it impossible to fire while moving. When the magazine runs out of ammunition during battle, it must be reloaded and refilled with her own Particles.

A humanoid weapon that was created from the collaboration of UFS and Demon Realm technology in a research facility of Task Force "G". Twin sisters born from an egg injected with genes of various species, Yuphie is the elder, and Sophie is the younger sibling. Among the injected genes, the traits of an Oni are most dominant, with vampiric powers also present. The elder sister, Yuphie, possesses special abilities focused on defense and healing, complemented by a quiet personality. The younger sister, Sophie, is physically adept and specialized for offense, with an energetic nature. Although their roles seem clearly divided, it's said that when Yuphie truly unleashes her power, she displays a ferocity and brutality that even surpasses that of her younger sister.

An artificial demon created anew with experimental data and cells of "Saya," that remained in a research facility in Tokyo Kingdom and was acquired by the UFS. While "Saya" was capable of transforming between a human and an awakened form, the awakened form lacked stability. This is why Saya NEO was developed with no consideration for transformation between forms and designed purely for efficient operation as a biological weapon. The details of what happened afterward are unclear, but records show that she escaped from the research facility.

Demon, a high-ranking Oni warrior. He is one of the executives of "Kibushu", a criminal syndicate in Tokyo Kingdom. Despite his frightening face bearing sharp teeth, he is fiercely loyal to his lord, Rakshasa, and displays a courteous demeanor, even using honorifics when speaking to his enemies. He practices the quick draw technique, "Teppeki Kiryu," using swift moves to deflect all sorts of attacks. Additionally, his bamboo hat is equipped with a special sensor that allows him to detect the distance between him and his enemies.

Demon, a high-ranking female Oni warrior. She crossed over to the Human World to make money and is living day by day as a mercenary. But, being a heavy drinker, she always ends up short on money as she spends her day's earnings on drinking. Among the Oni, she's feared by many, almost as much as a goddess, renowned for her overwhelming strength and toughness. She wields a gigantic sword forged by a legendary Oni blacksmith from the Demon Realm, and with it, it is said to be able to slay a titan-sized demon with godly powers.

Taimanin. The owner of Gosha's snack shop "Inageya", who excels in making ice cream or wagashi. She has a creed of opening Inageya every day, and does not tolerate anyone who disturbs her. Back in the day, she was one of the top Taimanins, and rumor has it that she still goes out on missions at night. She can neutralize any human or demon by stabbing them in their acupuncture points, and uses Soul Art to manipulate life energy and exchanges them however she wants to cope with various situations.

A UFS Officer. Former UFS Navy Special Forces, now a member of the UFS Department of State Task Force "G". The name "Major" is a code name, and her real name is still unknown. Every muscle in her body is strengthened by a special metal fiber, endowing her entire body with the defense of an armored car and strength enough to beat up and kill a man-eating Ogre with her bare hands. Her main weapon is a baseball bat made of a special metal that even Major herself cannot dent.

Former Taimanin. Hailing from a clan that served the Koukawa for generations, Koukawa Asuka decided to join the UFS, and in doing so, she also left the Taimanins. Soon after, she worked with the UFS in developing their enhanced Taimanin suit, and now wears a suit on her missions equipped with a Taima Particle Enhancer to test it on the field. As a user of "Ultimate Awakening", a supernatural ninja art, she possesses the strength of an ogre, which surpasses that of an ordinary human being. Additionally, by activating the Taima Particle Enhancer built into the Taimanin suit, she can deliver powerful and effective strikes, even if only temporarily, against demons or other demonic beings that possess resistance to physical attacks.

Demon. She works as an informant in Amahara. She has been living for a long time, so she knows a lot of things. She sells her information not just to Taimanins, but also to politicians, demons, etc. Her life is in danger, and she is being chased by Nomad after she did something Nomad did not like. Although no one has seen it, there are rumors that her skills rival those of Nomad's Hell Knight, Ingrid. She can control a Demonic Bug by blowing a bit of demonic power into a bug.

The founder of Nomad. The first vampire. Being the first vampire means that he was born a vampire, unlike a human who is turned into one. He is immortal, with no known weaknesses that are likely to appear in lore, and can even walk in sunlight. He is also known as the "Daywalker". He can transform into mist or dust and can turn humans into vampires by sucking their blood. Perhaps because of this, she is a bit of a nuisance to people around her, but she is actually a very hard worker, and those who know her trust her strongly. Her ninja art, Magnet Art, allows her to control surrounding metals by generating magnetic fields. Because of this ability, she is unable to use her phone, radio, or other communication devices for missions, so to suppress her ability, she wears a suppressor on her head when not on a mission.

Demon. An oni from the demon realm currently living in the human world after being banished from her home. After coming to the human world, she's being hunted by Taimanin, UFS, and the Chinese Union alike. However, she's the sort of person who can become friends with anyone, regardless of their background, as long as they both see eye-to-eye. Enjoys liquor a little too much, even for Oni's standards. She also likes gyaru-style fashion, but is frustrated because no one else around her sees her fashion the same way. Possesses the physical abilities of an oni and uses both a machine gun and a large club with ease. She also leads a criminal organization called "Francis Family", consisting of gangsters who fell head over heels for her beauty, rapidly expanding its size.

Taimanin, Gosha Academy student. She got lost on her trip into the mountains when she was young. When she was found, she was missing an arm but had Tam, the demonic beast, under her control. Her lost arm was replaced with a cyborg arm that her parents managed to find, but her once bright and playful personality never returned. She has lived together with Tam for a long time, and they've formed a sister and brother like bond with each other. She uses the Beast Art 'Familiar', allowing her to control demonic beasts. To control a beast, the user must sacrifice a part of their own body to force a contract with it. The user shares all senses with the beast and can command it as long as the sacrifice has been made. Tam is a beast from the demon realm who is always hungry and can eat up anything. Entering the human world by chance, it tried to eat Yuno during their first encounter but was forced into a contract and became her familiar. It has been resisting Yuno's control, but her Particles and emotions nulled its hunger, calming it down.

Taimanin, member of a special UFS institute. Born to a Taimanin who became a UFS member, and a UFS agent. Lost her parents to demons and was taken away to a UFS anti-demon research facility. To avenge her parents' deaths, she research-ed with the UFS in the lab to defeat demons instead of training her combat skills. Later she goes against demon forces after joining a special UFS institute. She talks in a noble, samurai-like tone since she likes watching historical tv series. She's very easy-going and cheerful, but timid when it comes to dealing with relationship issues. Uses a Japanese sword and a pistol as her weapons. A Water Artist, with the power to use her ninja art "Bubbles". She makes bubbles out of the moisture in the air, forcing enemies to slip on them or enhancing weapons by covering them with her bubbles.

Demon. Rules over the dark arena of killing known as the Chaos Arena, she even competes as a gladiator herself. Though she appears gentle, she commits cruel acts without hesitation, all while smiling. A close friend of Edwin Black, the head of the multinational corporation Nomad, who has allied with demons and is said to possess power comparable to hers. She dominates the Chaos Arena as a gladiator with a fighting style rooted in professional wrestling, and her skills are at such a level that even seasoned gladiators dare not challenge her. It is even believed that she has yet to reveal her true powers as a demon.

Demon. Low-rank Succubus of the demon realm. When hungry, she appears in people's dreams and sucks the vitality out of them. She's a typical demon driven by desire, as seen when she needs money; she uses all sorts of trickery to make money the easiest way possible. Lives doing whatever she wants every day and doesn't look back on the past. People tend to avoid her because she doesn't think before she acts, but this sometimes helps her to make friends regardless of race or faction. She's a notorious duo with Minasaki, as they often scheme together.

Taimanin, student of Gosha Academy. She formerly served the Nisha family of the Fuuma clan, but now leads a group of independent troops on her own. Childhood friend of Fuuma Kotaro. Calls him 'Fuu-kun' and often uses him as a servant to carry her shopping bags. Fuuma finds it difficult to deal with both her and her sister. Elec Art user. Her ninja art 'Display' materializes the digital information on a smartphone screen. In other words, she materializes and manipulates computer graphics. She can make a wolf that looks like a spotted cat attack, or a mouse that looks like a bear steal.

Taimanin, also known as 'Kaworu of the Steel Chain.' She formerly served the Nisha family of the Fuuma clan, but now she leads a group of Taimanin troops of her own. Her ninja art, Chain Art, allows her to summon chains from her palms. She can control the chains with her mind, which she skillfully uses to whip, snare, or strangle her enemies. Furthermore, the chains bear a curse where they become as heavy as their victim's sins; the more sins committed, the harder it is to break away from the chains.

A girl from the UFS who has been trained as a soldier since she was young. She was granted the power known as the 'Aqua Mistress' during a confidential research project of the UFS, and has been fighting in a team against demons and Taimanins in the dark streets. Following the army's decisions of what's good and bad, she has been suppressing her own emotions during brutal missions, but she began to question why they should attack innocent citizens or even children. Hence, she is helping citizens who were caught in fights among demons and dark syndicates. Her Aqua Mistress was made as a by-product of the research on powers of the Taimanin, which is an ability to control liquid as part of her by adding her own blood to it.

A UFS Anti-Demon soldier. Lost her right arm in a battle against demons and is now armed with a specialized android arm. Polite and composed, she rarely expresses her emotions and carries out her duties calmly. Her weapon syncs with her android arm, allowing her to manipulate gravity. It transforms between a sword and a gun. When in sword form, it cuts enemies with ten times greater force than what a human can produce, and when it is a gun, it fires bullets with a repulsive force.

A demon princess of the Arachnes who rules the extensive and warm part of the demon realm. She came to the human world to seek the cause of the endless abnormalities that began to appear in her territory after the two realms were connected. She may look like a young, beautiful girl, but in truth, she is sly and knowledgeable, as she's lived for so long. Her personality could also seem somewhat aloof, but her true nature is that of a cold-blooded predator who only cares for her tribe's profits. Powerful in combat, as she is the princess of a demonic tribe, she uses her webs to absorb life energy from organisms to sustain her youth and recovery. As long as she can siphon energy, she is immortal.

An executive of UFS's DSO. Undercover as the owner of the club "Persona" in Tokyo Kingdom and supervises Koukawa Asuka. Koukawa Oboro is her true identity. A collateral relative of the prestigious Koukawa clan, so a relative of Asuka. The Koukawa clan was annihilated by Nomad, under the command of Edwin Black. She was defeated by Black and subjected to forced cybernetic modification. However, her mind narrowly escaped. Now, in pursuit of vengeance, she secretly collaborates with the DSO to protect Asuka from the shadows. She is a practitioner of the secret ninja art, Husk Art – Mind Shift, a technique that allows her to transfer her consciousness into another body. It was through this forbidden art that she escaped certain death.

A genetically engineered human created in a UFS laboratory. She received an elite education from an early age, excelling in both academics and physical ability. Having only been "born" about five years ago, she has a free-spirited, clumsy, and childlike personality. Due to genetic modification, she was born with immense magical power, enabling her to control it like a superhuman. She can infuse inanimate objects with magic and manipulate them at will to annihilate her enemies. However, a major drawback is the rapid depletion of magical energy while controlling these objects. To compensate, she always carries a bag full of sweet treats to quickly replenish her energy.

Taimanin. Gosha Academy student. A cousin of Uehara Rin, the Volt Taimanin, and an Elec Art user. Unlike Volt Art, Elec Art uses the weak electricity that exists in living organisms, and its power is known to be similar to static electricity. People usually make fun of Elec Art users, saying they are suitable for electricity maintenance since they are immune to electricity. Elec Art is normally considered to be unsuitable for combat, and Shikanosuke seems to agree with it. Unlike this conceived notion, "Elec Art: Sonar", which detects nearby terrain or the placement of objects via reflected electrical waves, is considerably useful in nullifying an enemy's hallucination, as well as a covert operation, which is the main job of a ninja.

Taimanin. Sagou Bungo is his name. A distant relative of the main Fuuma clan and once a loyal retainer of the previous clan head, Fuuma Danjo. He defected to the UFS after Fuuma Danjo started a coup against Gosha but failed. He became a cyborg and was an active member of Task Force "G". However, when Task Force "G" marked him for disposal, he fled and sought asylum from the Japanese government. With the help of Igawa Asagi, he faked her death and now serves the current clan head, Fuuma Kotaro, as the cyborg Taimanin, "Library". His entire body is cybernetic, clad in heavy armor and capable of overwhelming enemies with high-speed maneuvers. In addition, he utilizes the ninja art "Silicon Art," which enables him to crystallize his body, allowing him to bend light for optical camouflage, superheat his body to gain both offensive and defensive power, or nullify energy-based weapons. He specializes in unorthodox tactics and unpredictable combat styles.

Taimanin. Daughter of Sagou Bungo, a.k.a. Library. But after splitting up with her father, she uses her mother's last name, "Izumo". She lost all her limbs after getting involved in a series of murders that shook Gosha, but was saved by Fuuma Kotaro. After that incident, she set her sights on becoming his maid full-time and stormed Fuuma Manor to declare this; however, it seems she is now officially recognized as Fuuma Kotaro's maid. Her motto—also her late mother's dying words—is, “Repay your enemies twofold, and your benefactors a hundred. Having lost both her arms and legs, she is equipped with cybernetic limbs. She uses Mechanical Art, which allows her to create intricate machines from metallic materials. She can freely transform her prosthetic limbs, such as turning her arms into rifles or attaching blades to her legs.

Taimanin. A royal servant who has served Shinganji Kurenai for ages. She was once an elite Taimanin with a promising future, but after an incident in which Kurenai saved her life, she volunteered to become her servant. She uses a ninja art called "Wind Reading," which enables her to detect the flow of surrounding winds, allowing for incredibly precise sniping. She is also capable of predicting events at a level close to foresight through advanced spatial perception and situational awareness. She is an individual who consistently acts for Kurenai's sake. Although she gives off an impression of being a gentle and meek person, she also has a frightening side that stops at nothing to achieve her goals when it comes to matters concerning Kurenai.

A modified human created by the UFS. Trained in a UFS facility as a soldier, she has plentiful combat experience. Can never tell what she is thinking about because she is calm at all times, but it seems she has trouble expressing herself. While on a mission, not only did she garner fans from the UFS and Taimanins, but even demons supported her, and some went as far as forming a group called the ABG (Anje Bodyguard), which eventually grew into a criminal organization. She has undergone modification surgery to be implanted with the powers of demons and Taimanins. Specializing in group combat, she extends countless tentacles from her back to annihilate multiple enemies at once.

Demon. A girl of the Yatagarasu tribe, with black crow's wings sprouting from her back. Because of her wings, her appearance vaguely evokes that of a fallen angel from fiction. She claims to be the incarnation of the mythical Yatagarasu, though there’s no need to take her at her word. Possessive by nature, she will go to any lengths to obtain something she takes a liking to, and will not forgive anyone who tries to take it from her. A capricious type, she will abandon even a project she's absorbed in the moment she loses interest, immediately moving on to something else. Often paired with the succubus Lilim, the two tend to stir up trouble together, earning them the nickname “Chaotic Duo.”

Codename "Type Hero". A being enhanced with the essence of science to stand against demonic entities. However, she possesses a cold personality, lacking the sense of responsibility one might expect from a hero. Instead, she is more akin to a machine built solely to eliminate beings hostile to humanity. As a special weapon, she is equipped with the special blade, "Shin'i", forged from special particles, and the ever-deployable shield "Kamui". Through genetic modification to withstand Byangi’s subordinates, she boasts physical capabilities several times greater than those of an ordinary human.

Demon. Half-human, half-tiger. An executive of Yomihara's "Beast Kingdom" gang. She's like a younger sister to the Beast Kingdom's leader, Hairo Ichirota. Her looks and behavior seem young, but she has a strong sense of loyalty and justice. She helps discriminated beastmen in many ways. Normally, she takes the form of a human, but can transform herself into a "Weretiger" form. She gains superhuman strength, regenerative ability, and agility in this form, growing sharp teeth and claws that can tear through steel. Her war cry can terrorize the mind and body.

A girl from the UFS with psychic powers. After awakening her powers at a young age, she was trained at an experimental facility to harness her powers and use them in battle, and has been completing special missions such as fighting demons, etc. Has a bright and energetic personality, and she dreams of becoming a hero who vanquishes evil. She possesses the psychic ability "Heaven's Wheel (Angel Saucer)", which allows her to generate discs of light and control them freely. The suit she wears is custom-made for her at the laboratory, designed to work in conjunction with Heaven's Wheel to provide additional capabilities such as shielding and flight.

Former Taimanin. Formerly one of the elders who oversaw the Igawa clan, she is the maternal aunt of the leader of all Taimanins, Igawa Asagi. In the past, she schemed in the clan’s power struggle but was defeated, losing both her hands in the process. Now, she works as an agent for the Internal Bureau of Intelligence and Research, commonly known as “IBIR.” Known for her mastery of intrigue and manipulation, she is an exceedingly dangerous individual. Once a handler of falcons, she now wears cybernetic steel prosthetic arms, having lost her hands in a past conflict. A master of the Ninja Arts, her skill in close-quarters combat is said to rival even Momochi Toyo, reputed to have the finest melee combat ability in the Igawa clan.

Taimanin, the 18th master of the Onigumo clan. The Onigumo clan is known to be a clan of Beast Art ninjas for generations, and its masters inherit the name 'Saburo'. The 18th Saburo, who succeeded the name as a girl, showed a rare talent as a child and was recognized as a master. The 18th Saburo's Beast Art is a ninja art which is also called "Beast Tamer".
