Even as a created being, Alexi holds emotions both deep and overflowing with sincerity. She loves Livian dearly and entrusts all her faith and longing to the legendary Hero destined to set the Ark in motion.

Waiting had always ended in disappointment; every spark of hope flared only to fade. So when the Hero crossed the boundary of time, shattered her endless solitude, and appeared before Alexi, she felt—for the first time—the joy of a wish fulfilled. Though Noah bears little resemblance to the legend, to her, that difference itself is what gives him his singular allure—the very essence of what makes him the Hero.

Maybe because there isn't much to do aboard the Ark, Alexi's become rather addicted to reading—especially romance novels. More than once when I went looking for her, I found her completely absorbed in some tragic love story about the 'Bloodborn.'

Even this time when we got separated, it was because she wanted to dash off and grab the latest release from the Prophet Cat, Temptation: A Heartless Love Story in the Bloodborn Castle.

I wonder if she ever managed to get her hands on that book...
